In 1971 I was born Bronx, New York. I have had a wonderful and amazing life. I never knew that I would ever become one of the richest people in the world. When I was 17 years old in 1988 I recorded Anita Bakers song called "Caught Up In The Rapture" in a recording booth at as local shopping mall. This was simply heart stopping when the first thing I sang became a professional cover. I was amazed in 1989 I go the opportunity to sign a label, becoming the youngest and first female artist. I am a great singer while I am creating great Hip-Hop and R&B music and recording them with Geffen Records

I was amazed when Reed let me be a background singer when he made his appearance at the Apollo Theater in 1990. Also I was completely thrilled when I also got the opportunity when father MC allowed me to be in his song called "I'll do for you." Right when I thought that I would explode with all of the business I am doing, Puffy asked me to be in his music video that was concert themed, she was the role of a backup singer.

My singing career started as any young girls would, with singles. My first two singles were called "What’s the 411" and "You remind me." These were released by up town records. I was very amazed when I got a call saying how one of my albums was number 29 and number 1 on the hot 100 R&B chart. I was simply in shock when I recorded the songs with uptown records that I had came up with, and then they became an album. This was my second album and it was called "My Life" in 1994.

In 1995 I decided to take action in many outside projects. One of these was making a cover of Aretha Franklin’s song called "You make me feel like a natural woman" fro the soundtrack of the FOX series called "New York Undercover" and "Everyday it rains." Also I made it for a soundtrack called the "The Show." for an album called "Hip-Hop Biopic.

I decided to go to a new record company after Geffen and Uptown After recording MCA made it an official album called "Share My World." This was my third album and MCA released it in 1997. This was one of the best ones I did so far.

I made my acting debut on the Jamie Foxx show in 1998. I played a preachers daughter named Ola Mae who had an inspiration for singing more than gospel music in a church choir. This bought me another tag; I went from a singer, rapper and a songwriter to a singer, rapper, songwriter and an actress.

I got many new songs recorded in 1999 that MCA eventually turned into an album named "Mary." This made me exhausted, back when I was in that recording booth at the mall with Geffen Records I didn't know that this would eventually lead to music videos, albums, concerts, billboards, and even being on T.V shows.

In 2001 I released my album called "No more drama." MCA records released this and I told myself once I came up with these songs that "I have done it again." I knew that with all of these great albums that there are no ways that I will any time soon become a no-body. These told me that with these there are a whole lot more coming.

MCA records released Dance for me. This album was a bunch of club remixes made originally from my most popular past hits. For example one that I remember from this album was that the thunder pass mix of "No More Drama." I thought that if I made this I would have at-least one fast album so I could have a little competition with all of these other actors. In 2002 when this was released I knew there was a lot more to come.

In the year 2003 two main very important things happened. One was that my new album called "Love & Life" was released; Geffen records released this. Also the second best thing was that I got married to a sweet, cute, loving man named Kendu Isaac On December 7th. He had three kids. There names were Jordan, Nas, and Brianna who Kendu's Ex-Wife Kept. We also bought one of the most expensive houses in New Jersey. Her house has a movie theater, giant pool, and too many more and it all comes to a total of 12 million dollars.

In 2005 Geffen Records released my 7th album called the breakthrough. This was an album about when people break up, these were emotional songs fro example the song "Enough Cryin.'" This to me was one of the best albums, I thought back then before I made this album that that they were the best but I never heard this one back then.

I guest starred on the T.V show "Ghost Whisperer." This was about a girl named Jackie Boyd who I played, who was a cheerleader coach. Her brother died and she was being haunted by one of the cheerleaders who were on the team.

This is my life. With all of my albums, concerts, music videos, C.D's, and more. Back in 1988 I never thought that stepping foot into the Geffen records recording booth, would lead me to being one of the most famous, richest people in the world.
